I knew the first wedding I ever lead for Big Events would be hard to top at the time but now, years later + plenty past, I am really looking back in awe and reflecting on this beautiful "first wedding" of mine. Here's why it rocked:
IT WAS INTIMATE.
Only 50 of their close family + friends gathered to see this couple, Anna + Rafe, say "I Do" after a decade of dating.
IT WAS MEANINGFUL.
They didn't just want a "normal" venue. They chose Autumn Crest Farm because it is the families property, they had previous memories there and it was extremely relevant to their lives + even more meaningful now.
I am not even a "pink person" but I still can't get over these flowers. YEAH, they take my breath away. Anna and her mother's favorite detail in the planning process were the flowers - they were truly magical and filled every space.
IT WAS FUN.
The planning process + event as an outsider was truly fun. I have seen friends + bride's get so worried about the small insignificant details, what people think/other trivial things, that they forget about the big picture: you are marrying your best friend. EVERYTHING else will be wonderful.
...Just hire a pro planner and get some beauty sleep.
