valentines.

this lovely valentines day shoot with Mary, Mrs. Southern Social, would also beautiful for a girls luncheon, a bridal shower or a baby shower! I loved the way it turned out & I hope you do too!

I loved the mixture of pattern in the tablecloth so I went with warm tones in the flowers that didn’t match OR distract to the pattern. Whites and greens would have also been a beautiful choice if you are wanting to recreate this look but personally I am a big fan of mixing colors!

The mauve pink tone used in the napkins / placemats from Mrs. Alice Shop were a beautiful pop of color …I loved using this tone instead of using the traditional pink variations of Valentines Day!

shop all tabletop used at the end of the post!

how delicious do these desserts look? they were just as good as they look. Mary is the best “delegator” and sourced the desserts to the pros:

-caroline’s cakes: these were champagne cake bites but there are more options listed on her website!

- southern squares: (a local brand I now love) makes these insanely delicious petit fours

ps. these desserts are a pregnant girls dream!

*TABLETOP TIP: display your desserts / food in height varying stands or platters. It adds interest to the table!

I will be continuing to drink water & mocktails for the next 4 months BUT Mary’s yummy punch would be a big hit at a party!
